»Castle Wedding«

You will enter the castle grounds of Auerbach and will be welcomed by servants and maidens, who will guide you to the castle. There you will be treated in fabulous atmosphere with cake on a tray or "Rahmfleck" from a stone-oven.

After you have regained your strength you will be guided by the herald to the knight-games where you can test your capability in crossbow and bow and arrow shooting, cherry pit spitting, and horseshoe throwing.

At the end of the games you will be picked up by medieval musicians and guided by music to the room, where a delicious feast will start. At this feast you will be pampered with food and drinks, prepared according to ancient recipes and with a herald, who performs the ordeal of poison testing after each course, announces the rules of the table, chooses repeatedly assistants out of the crowd of guests and during the course of the evening one will become a knight of castle Auerbach. Also the musicians, tumblers, and a court jester will provide entertainment. The medieval evening will end with a performance of the artists at a bonfire where they will offer you schnapps from a wooden keg.
